Annie Lee Painting since the age of ten, Ms. Lee’s art reflects her remarkable ability to observe and draw life as she sees it, combining humor, satire and realism. Her trademarks are the animated emotion of the personalities in her artwork and their faces, which are painted without features. Each figurine and home accent piece captures the essence of her artwork, depicting life and events, which are all part of the human experience. Harriet Rosebud The motivation to create her wearable art came from Harriet Rosebud's interest at a very early age in the shapes and colors found in even the tiniest of things like the design within a butterfly's wings. She was inspired by what she discovered and hats became her canvas to reflect that love of shapes, colors and textures. Her creations are extensions of herself and sold through her company, Rosebud of New York, to retailers across the country. The miniature hats within the ROSEBUD collection are re-creations of her own full-size designs, serving as tributes to the African American woman and her hats. Cristina Sosa Noriega A third-generation Mexican American, Cristina Sosa Noriega was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Yale where "for the first time in my life I became intensely aware of how important my cultural heritage was and I began to truly embrace and celebrate my identity as a Latina, a Texan, an artist--and an American." Fond memories of family and friends intensely immersed in Loterķa, a traditional Mexican game of pictures similar to Bingo, made her want to share a little part of her unique culture. So she created an updated edition of the game sparking a full line of vibrant, Latino-inspired tabletop and general merchandise--perfect for outdoor living/casual entertaining. Gigi Dy-Sy With a keen eye for fabric quality and innovative styling, Gigi Dy-Sy began designing angelic selections for Sandy USA, Inc. in 1995.
